TGIF

After my last class yesterday, I thought of going out..alone because I just felt so. Ha-ha. So I went to Waikiki, unintentionally. I needed a new tube of sunscreen so I headed to the duty free shop. I know; why would I go that far for a sunblock right? Well, the duty free shop sells everything for less (I think?) and it is the only place (at least here in honolulu?)that carries the Derma White line by Clinique (It's Asia Exclusive). I've been meaning to the try derma white city block (sunblock) for quite sometime now and I'm elated that I have it at last! Although I haven't tried it yet, I can foretell that I'm gonna like it, mainly because it has no harsh ingredients! It has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which I know is an effective physical sun blocker (did I just make up the word?). It also has a very light beige tint to it, which I like because It'll make my dull skin brighter! But the downside is, I find it pricey. It cost about $24usd excluding tax for a tiny tube! But ah, It's such a good sunblock. There are cheaper alternatives out there but they're loaded with supposedly harsh ingredients! So I guess I'll stick to this one..for now.

Nung papunta ako dun, may nakilala akong mga pinoy, si Patrick at yong mama nya. Bale kaidad ko lang si Patrick (okay, aminin ko, mas bata sya and tinawag nya akong "kuya" haha. man, I'm not that old. I'm only 19!!! haha) Papunta sila ng RP consulate dahil magiinquire daw sila kung pano sya makakauwi ulit ng Philippines para ipagpatuloy ang pagaaral nya ng kursong nursing. With the knowledge that I have, nag-advice na 'ko. hehe. He-he. Ayun. chit-chat-chit-chat to the max and nagexchange din ng contacts. Hay. It's so good to see fellow pinoys and not to mention how it feels so good to hear and talk to my native tongue freely (hindi nagwo-worry na pinipintasan ako ng mga americano dahil wala akong american accent hehe).
