A breather
I can finally go back to my normal life...at least just for a while. Examination week is done! and my results are not so bad (mostly above 80%) but I however had to withdraw one of my courses because....well, I was getting a D and it will affect my grade point average (gpa) drastically. A withdrawal letter on my transcript is so much better than a D. I kind of feel bad because I wasted my tuition; but in life, we have to make sacrifices for the betterment. (ang lalim)
Anyway, my biology class was canceled yesterday so I thought of going to Waikiki for no particular reason (Waikiki is my favorite place here in Hawaii because it reminds so much of Manila) and wandered the floors of the duty free shop. I went to the Ralph Lauren section and saw something! I wanted to get a particular style of their signature polo but unfortunately, they did not have the color I wanted. I then left dfs and headed to the Ala Moana Center. The Ralph Lauren boutique in the said mall also did not have the color I wanted so I just bought a polo with a different style but in the color that I originally wanted. I felt bad because with the things that happened lately (typhoon ondoy etc..), shopping for things that I don't really need is the last resort. BUT, I really, really needed to buy it because I'll be needing it for my nephews baptism next month! I know it's something that I'll be wearing for a while so I consider it as an investment:D

I'm not a compulsive buyer. As a matter of fact, I don't even have to buy anything when I go to the malls. However, if I see something that I like and it's reasonably priced/ I can afford it, why not buy it right? :D
