Parisian Chocolates

Yesterday after the bi-annual Katipunan picnic, I along with Eri, Nik, Modesto, and Justin headed to Neiman Marcus. Apparently, Nik wanted to buy chocolates for someone (if i remember correctly, it was for her mum. but i could be so wrong? hehe. So sweet of him. Haven't really thought of giving anything for my mum this valentines day). Anyway, while wandering the store, I saw these:

The moment I saw them, I knew I wanted one. And honestly, I didn't even care if the actual contents were good. I just wanted one because the beautiful brown box enthralled me (pathetic. haha). I asked for the price; I was expecting they'd be less than $20 but hello, we were inside a luxury department store! The sales lady cheerfully said it was $55. I was shocked! I immediately said huwag na in my head. haha. Gee. It was such a small box. think of two small ring boxes combined. And then I saw the word "Paris" embedded atop of the box. I then realised that oh. . .Parisian chocolates. Hence the expensive price tag. Talk about branding.

Anyway,Happy Valentines day everybody! If you have extra cash, you can always get a box of La Maison Du Chocolat (saying it in my French tongue) for you loved one. I'm sure it will make her/his day. After all, no one can resist chocolates:-)
