post christmas gift. . .to my self. haha

I headed 3 hours early to the airport for my MNL flight yesterday to avoid traffic. . .and as well as to have a substantial time to gallivant at Duty Free Galleria. I perused in Hermes, Burberry, Prada, and Cartier, but unfortunately, I couldn't afford any of them. The only reason why I was so confident to enter the aforementioned luxury stores was because I was an international traveler (no tax) AND I had money. haha. Money, as in Christmas money that I've accumulated. But even though I had money, it was not much. So my budget for finding something 'special' was also limited. Fortunately (or unfortunately haha), I went to Alfred Dunhill where I got myself a reasonably priced messenger style bag. There weren't much goods in Dunhill  in all honestly, but there were two things on sale: a backpack and a messenger bag. Both were 50 percent off of the original price so it was a good deal! But I had to think about it for a few minutes. haha. I told myself, "is this a good buy?" I then decided that it was a good buy. haha. The nice sales lady even said that their wallets are much more expensive than the bag that I got so in a way, that made me feel a little better. It was not cheap, but it was not expensive either. haha Again, like with all my purchases, I wouldn't have bought it if it weren't on sale.

I checked out the Alfred Dunhill website and the bag that I got is still available (the bag is called Heist Traveller North South Bag) but what I find it strange that the MSRP on the website is much less than the MSRP in HNL. But the sale price in HNL is much more than the sale price on the website. Ang gulo!
