Oh Mondays. . .
I was on the bus, on my way to school, then all of a sudden, I felt my stomach hurting. It must have been the heavy breakfast (I'm not entirely sure). I thought, in order feel better, kailangan akong mag "withdraw." Haha. Gets? So, I stopped at Ala Moana Centre, and headed to Neiman Marcus as fast as I could (because their CR is very luxurious, and not a lot of people go there so I thought mas sanitary doon) and withdrew there. Haha. Nakakatawa na nakakahiya. Anyway, I was already late for law class, but walking in was not my option. I was still recovering, so I thought skipping was okay since I had a valid reason. Plus, I needed to "distress." Seriously, I felt weak.
I decided to go to Waikiki. And whenever I go to Waikiki, I always go the Duty Free Galleria. I noticed that there was a storewide sale, so I perused at Ralph Lauren, my favourite American clothing brand (it was the only store that I could afford to walk in to haha). Went to the RLX section and found this really nice track Jacket in my size (the only size left as a matter of fact). I looked at the price, and it was $148. But apparrently, it was on sale for 70% off. I was a little hesistant to get it in all honesty because I've been spending too much (haha), but it was such a good deal. I ended up getting it. . .for only $44.40. Ahhhh. I love it when things go on sale! *Another customer at the store was eyeing, but too bad. haha. She in fact offered me if she could pay me double of what I paid for the jacket. And I was like, Lady, no. haha*
Anyway, I chatted with the sales person, and I jokingly said I wanted to work at DFS. Next thing I know, he brought me to the HR department, and I was filling out the application form for internship and/or management trainee program. Since I discovered DFS in 2008, I've always fantasized about working there. I just find the place luxurious. I know I don't have a training in retail management, but that doesn't deter me from applying. I really hope they will consider me:-)
Although I skipped one of my classes today, something good happened naman. Haha. I headed back to the school anyway shortly after I applied since I head a class pa at 3pm. That particular class was surprisingly boring today, but I learned something essential for my possible career in the future:-)
