Happy Vday:-)
Really, nothing extraordinary. Just a regular day for me.
7am: woke up. had a lengtly shower. Got dressed. And pampered myself by applying my essential potions (I'm vain! so what? haha). When looked at myself in the mirror, I noticed that my hyperpigmention was significantly lighter! Horray for being consistent with my skincare regimen.
8pm: breakfast at gateway cafe. i had a scoop of rice, two french toasts (without syrup) and three pieces of hotdogs (don't know what kind of hotdogs). I wanted to eat omelet, but the queue was horrendous. for some reason, i'm always not satiesfied when i have my breakfast (or lunch and dinner as a matter of fact) at gateway! Choices are so limited!
9pm: In ICT class. As usual, boring. Didn't really pay attention. I was browsing the internet on my ipod. I know, really inapropriate. And I feel bad for my professor because he's so nice (and shy).
10pm: headed to sinclair library with Mylene to inquire for any volunteer opportunities (required for Capstone class). But according to the nice lady whom I talked to, they're not offering any (and apparently, I was the fourth student to ask). However, she reffered me to another program who desperately need my service (chos!). Haha. I'll be contacting that program tomorrow and I'm hoping for the best. Mylene and I then Headed to CC to eat early lunch. I had prime rib (how sinful!) and i found it too grand for a cafeteria food. Sosyal ng UH-M ha!
12pm: PR class. Eri didn't come. She was doing her essay daw for her study abroad in Paris this coming summer (sosyal). She didn't miss much though. Just discussed about an "obscene" material published in the univesity newspaper. That's about it! Didn't participate sa argument ng mga classmates ko. I knew matatalo ako. haha
1pm: I wanted to go to DFS too look around. While waiting for the bus, I noticed na ang daming Korean's sa school. And they're so maingay pa (which was really irritating). I thought I was in the Philippines. haha. Hey, don't get me wrong. I have nothing against Koreans. I watch their dramas and I envy their flawless milky white complexion (haha). But what's up with them going to various parts of the world to learn English?
anyway, I did go to dfs. Ralph Lauren had a small selection of heavily discounted clothes. I saw two shirts (to be worn on formal events). they fit perfectly. it was as if they wear tailored for me. The price ws reasonable. I had it on hold. I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow morning. But when I walked out of the store, I thought I didn't really need what I had on hold. I mean, it was nice. But I didn't really want to spend my whole allowance on that particular item. It was heavily discounted! However, It's not practical. I'm sure I can get a similar piece for even a much lower price (like in Bananna Republic).
I still felt the need to buy something (haha) so headed to Ala Moana Center. I got myself a hair molding wax from Japan-based Shu Uemura. I purchased it W Salon. The stylist recommended it to me. And I love it! I'll probably do a detailed post about this:-)
3pm: I was gonna head back to my dorm, but I decided to stop by Nordstrom. I went straight to their bag section and looked for the very famous Longchamp Le Pliage. I was however surprised that they had such a limited stock. I was there last week, and I remember that there were so many! They even had the overnighter that I'm coveting. The super friendly SA and I had a conversation, and I learned that longchamp will discontinue the le pliage this year! Wow! I'm not a le pliage user, but my mom is and she loves it very much. It's such great bag! And I really want the overnighter! I ought to order it soon before it becomes obsolete!
Then mum called and told me to get ready because we're gonna be eating out for dinner. yay. So I rushed back to my dorm and fixed myself
6pm: Rode the bus to Ala Moana. It was raining! And It was traffic! And I saw a lot of young couples dressed up. Most likely, they're going on a date. Ay. Inggit ako. haha
7pm: Met my parents. Plan was to eat at Red Lobster. But we really didn't feel like leaving the mall vicinity. Every restaurant in the mall was booked. So we decided to eat at the food court nalang. It wasn't bad. In fact, we ate good food. It may not have been fancy, but it was good.
8:30pm: Finished eating. Went to Shirokiya and bought a mens fashion magazine (It's called "Fine Boys." It's my second issue, and I'll be buying my third one tomorrow). Left the mall after.
9pm: I decided not to sleep in my dorm. So I went along with my parents sa "probinsya." haha. Cleaned my bedroom, and took a shower after. And then composed my reflection paper for FIL330 (gagawin ko na yong ibang assignment tomorrow!)
11pm: here I am typing this entry. I should probably sleep soon since I have a meeting at Hilton tomorrow. I want to look fresh. haha:D
