Empire State of Mind

Travel Industry Management Students Association, an org at UHM in which I'm part of, will be going to the Big Apple in a couple of weeks for a study trip. Thankfully, I was invited to go, and am so excited. I know it's still cold there, so I thought of getting a coat.

I purchased this Rag and Bone coat from Barneys earlier this morning. The moment I saw it, I knew it was love. Not  really the thickest, but I think it's still cold-weather appropriate. I didn't really want something that would be too thick because 1: I live in HNL. And I want to use it again here when it gets extremely chilly, but not East Coast chilly haha. And 2: I don't think it's going to be winter-cold when  I get to NYC anyway, so something "light" should be okay. So the one that I got is perfect. It was not cheap however. Huhu. It was pretty expensive (for me it was expensive)! Probably the most expensive coat that I own (am a poor university student). I mean, It was already on sale, but it was still expensive. haha. But then I realised that the craftsmanship is just so exquisite. I love the details (unfortunately, my camera can't show it). So this coat was definitely a good buy despite the high price tag.
