It's been a week

Last thursday night, while on my way to a despedida dinner, Jason Mraz's "I'm yours" played on the radio. While the song has nothing to do with my life (haha), it was the song that I listened to a lot back when I started Uni. Hearing the aforementioned song on that rainy Thursday night made me miss those days. But reality check, it has been four years. Many things happened. I saw my personal growth as a person, and learned to know who I really am. Uni taught me everything I know about life. It wasn't perfect; I had many ups and downs. But it surely was the four best years of my life. It's where I met the people I'll probably never forget. I love my undergrad years, and if I were to do it all over again, I would.

But as they say, good things must come to an end. Last Saturday, May 12, 2012, I walked at the spring commencencement excercises. It was nice to see my fellow graduates clad in their green togas. There were a lot of picture-taking as well. Everything happened really fast. That day was a blur. But it was surely memorable as it was the day I was acknowledged for working really hard in school. Those sleepless nights, stressful days, and depressing moments when waiting for grades to be posted, are worth it. I'm a proud of graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. And it feels damn good to call myself a degree-holder. All the required years of schooling (at least for me) is finally over. No more tests, assignments, projects, and such. But for some reason, I'm going to miss all those things. Bittersweet.
