Umm. Hair styling products? *Can't think of a better title*

I have always been quite vain about my hair. I think most Asian guys are. I like it neat and polished all the time. That said, I style my crowning glory (because it really is; it could make or break my overall appearance) with the best products out there. I'm not product snob though. I'm willing to use anything as long as it does what it promises. In high school, I used Bench stick wax and Body Shop beeswax texturising wax. Both did a very good job keeping my hair neat. Really inexpensive too and I could have consistently used the aforementioned products. But since I was young, I wanted to experiment. Other styling products I stumbled upon and loved are Shiseido Uno Fog Bar and Osis wax it shine wax by Swarzkopf. But now, I think I really found what truly works for my hair:

Shu Uemura styling products are seriously the best. They are ridiculously expensive and only sold in high end salons (I get my stock at W Salon in Ala Moana Centre). But hey, they really work. I currently use two products (though not together) to style my hair: Frame wax and Extreme Urishi. I like them both, but I prefer the Extreme Urishi more because once I put it on my hair stays put the whole day making it really look presentable no matter what the weather is. Aside from the fact that both products hold extremely well, they also make my hair appear shiny (which I like) and most importantly, they are easily washable (I don't have to use any special shampoo).

I usually use my hands to manipulate my hair because the "undone look" is more appealing. But there are times when I like the super neat look so a comb is essential. I recently got a Mason Pearson comb. And like the Shu Uemura products, it was bloody expensive. In all honesty, I don't think there's anything special about it. But given the expensive price tag, I hope that it'll last for many years:-)
