Just like the good 'ol days

Today, I attended the Katipunan Spring Piknik with Monica, Aizza, Mylene, Karl, Elaine, Ryan, and Airra. Two years ago, I knew everyone in the club. But now, I hardly recognized anyone. So much people have inevitably left. But our group will probably keep attending until we no longer feel a sense of attachment to our dear college club that we called home for many years.

Unlike last Fall where we arrived during the last our of the event, this spring, we were able to go extra early. And unbelievably, we stayed till the end. Aizza, Monica, and Mylene decided to go home after, while Karl, Ryan, Airra, her boyfriend Shaun, JC (whom I just met, and I guess part of the new group. haha) and I stayed around the area to gallivant. Haven't done that in months!

Ang dami nang kulang sa group na to. Missing Nik, Modesto, Tessa, and Eri (actually, I stopped by at work after and saw Eri. so yay. )

After getting some snacks (actually, I just got a free cup of water) at the Ala Moana Centre food court, we headed to Ryan's (expensive) condo in Waikiki were we swam in their pool for hours. It was fun. Haven't swam in years. Swimming is actually a good exercise (and as of this writing, tiredness is hitting me).

Then we ate dinner at a nearby cafe where we rekindled college memories. I loved it. Seriously, I miss college so badly! Anyway, I ordered this:

Then we decided to go to Kalakua Avenue. Stopped by DFS to use the rest room and drink a glass of dry Champaign:-)

JC and I were supposed to commute back home after our little walk at Waikiki, but Airra and Shaun were nice enough to drive us to our respective homes. God bless them. It was really fun day and night with my dearest friends. I was just sad because we weren't complete. I hope Modesto, Joyce (who are in Optometry, Pharmacy schools respectively), Eri, and Nik could join us in the near future.
