It's the University of Hawaii at Manoa's spring commencement tomorrow. Wow, it has been a year since my own commencement. Inevitably, a lot has changed (and these changes are what I blogged about over the past year) but I'd like to think I'm still the same--the same Philip who dreamed high, and still dreaming that one day, he'll be successful in his field.

University life was, and still is the best time of my life. Of course, attending English, Math, Social/Biological sciences, and all of my major classes were part of the learning process. But it wasn't all about the academic theories. University truly was about self-discovery. It was in Uni where I discovered what true friendship means. It was in Uni where I discovered that I'll always have a home. And it was in Uni where I discovered what I'm capable of doing. My duration at UHM, albeit incomparable to an ivy league, was amazing. It exposed me to things that I thought I'd never face, which tremendously made me grow as a person.
Sadly, I can't attend the graduation rites tomorrow because of my work (hate the fact that my schedule is not fixed). But I wish to congratulate my fellow "New Yorkers" Kim, Janelle, and Jonathan for graduating from one of best Travel Industry Management institution in the world! And oh, how could I forget Teddy, our president from Katipunan--my home at UHM. You finally did it, supremo.
