Rainy day

 Had lunch with Tessa (whom I haven't seen since we graduated) and Joyce (who is back for the summer) at a Thai restaurant earlier today at Ward. Not really fond of Thai food, but I surprisingly enjoyed what we ordered. Everything was cheap too so yay for us.

Not to be vain or anything, but I'm really in love with the Valentino Polo I'm wearing. Got it as a  Christmas gift last year. And I'm looking really pale. Must be the fact that I'm I don't see the sun anymore. haha

I was hesitant to order this friend chicken because the menu stated that it was marinated in ginger (I hate ginger!), but our server guaranteed that there wouldn't be any trace it. HE LIED! haha. But it was bearable, so it was okay:P 

Then we watched "The Great Gatsby" after (Tessa didn't join though because she had other errands). I've been wanting to watch since I saw the trailer, and I have to say, it didn't wow me. Haha. I mean, it wasn't bad. I guess I expected more? I didn't focus too much on the plot anyway. I was more in awe with the fashion. Haha. I loved everything that Nicky Carraway wore (and on a side note, Tobey's acting was really superb)! The green Brooks Brothers cardigan is haunting me/

After the movie, Joyce and I headed to Ala Moana Centre. I haven't been there in ages (maybe it's because I don't work around the area anymore. hehe). So what did we do? we ate! Haha. We had a snack at Jollibee AND then ate dinner at Goma Tei, a ramen place, where I had the best gyoza. :D We were so full! May our bodies forgive us.
