Unearthed from my closet

Look at what I found! I got this in 2011 when I was studying at the Ateneo for the summer. I vividly remember getting this as an impulse buy because I wanted to treat myself as I was having a bad week. My classmates and I (along with Sir Mike) were having lunch at Manang's and we were dreading over an upcoming presentation. It was really stressful, so I thought of unwinding by doing a little retail therapy. After eating, I took the cab (all the way from Katipuan to Mandaluyong. Fare wasn't so bad because traffic was light) and headed to the Shangri-la Plaza. I went straight to the Onitsuka Tiger shop, and thought of getting a pair of shoes. I did get a pair of shoes (guilty. I have yet to wear it up to this day), but I also wanted to get a bag from the said brand. No bags were on display, but I asked the Sales Clerk if they had any.  They had a couple in their stock room. She brought one out. I didn't like it. She brought another one, and it was this. I liked it because the color entralled me. So I impulsively purchased it. And damn, this was expensive (at least for me). I believe it was 5000 ($100+) pesos or something.

 I showed it to Edward, my kuya and my roommate and he thought it was ridiculous that I purchased something that was impractical.

When I returned to Honolulu, I placed it somewhere in my closet at our place (not in my dorm) and honestly, I didn't really get to use it. Truth be told, I abandoned this because I found it to be a little sporty for a young professional who is clad in a suit almost everyday (ehem, ehem). So I completely forgot that I even have this. And after two years of being hidden, I finally unearthed it, and I find it really nice--the same sentiment when I first saw it.  I think I'll be using it again when I go out during my day offs. I'm not sure if its worth the money I paid for (materials are cheap, honestly), but I'm somewhat glad that I have it. Ahhh. The joy of finding something that you thought you didn't have.
