Part Quatre

Pretty much spent the whole day wandering around Hong Kong. The highlight however was visiting Disneyland. It was a fun filled day, but it was also the coldest. Haha :D

Woke up to this view. Two words: urban jungle. Hong Kong is one of the busiest city I've been to (NYC is next). It's overwhelmingly urban and ahead of it's neighboring counterparts.

Taking a selfie before heading out. It was a cold, cold day which I again underestimated. I was warned by a colleague (Hi Betty), but I ignored. Fortunately, I had the instinct of packing extra cardigans. Layering helped a lot.
Selfie muna bago mag breakfast :D
Mama and Boyet enjoying their meal. :D

This restaurant was located on the sixth floor of the hotel. It had a lot of French/Western influences (doesn't it?). Food was quite limited. It was complimentary after all. We could have opted to eat somewhere else, but it was fine.

For three days, this was one of the meals I ate during breakfast. It was pretty standard. Nothing special, to be blunt. But it kept me full.
Regular westerner: Ham, egg, and bread.

There was an MTR station under Times Square and we decided to gallavant after breakfast. People in Hong Kong are always in a rush. They walk pretty fast. Us Filipino's couldn't keep up with them. Haha. To be fair, we live in a much more laid back environment.

People move fast in Hong Kong!
Honestly, I wish we had MTRs in Honolulu too. It's so efficient! And I strongly believe that It'll solve the heavy traffic (It's the worst in the country).
One of my favourite shots. Haha

On the was to Disneyland. Wee. Along with me and Mama is ate Sheryl who is now based in Hong Kong. She was our certified tour guide. Many thanks to her because we could have been lost. Haha. She lives in Causeway Bay really close to the vicinity of our hotel so it was convenient for her to visit us and vice versa.

Mickey Mouse-Shaped handles. Weeeee.

The Happiest place on Earth!I was so happy that I was able to bring Mama here. It was one of my dreams. And it finally came true. Check out our winter gear. Loving it! Haha. Sadly, we can't use it much as we live in tropical environment. Sigh.

"When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you"

Haha :D

Of course, we had to get some souvenirs. :D

Headed back to Causeway bay around noon. We were famish so we looked a place to eat. Opted for fast food because it was the most convenient. I love fast food in Asia because they're cheap but quality is not compromised. I also feel they're much more safer to eat than their American counterparts. The thing is, cash lang or yong Octopus card ang pwedeng gamitin. Di pwede ang credit card.

Had a little time to go to IFC. I love IFC! Feeling ko, bagay ako don. Haha. I didn't buy anything. Just wandered :-)

Headed to Kowloon after. We took the Ferry. I don't generally like water transportations because it makes me dizzy. Haha.

Kowloon was another world. Didn't really explore it. Just took lots of photos. Haha. My employer's headquarters is actually based in Kowloon, and I wish I visited. But I got lost and was to lazy to go in the end. Haha

Mama, the tourist :-)

We went back to the Hotel after to have some rest. It was Skype time with my parents. Haha

For the remaining night, we went to the nearby Time Square to shop and eat dinner.
Hello Laduree. Didn't bother getting anything because I already made my damage at Pierre Herme. These aren't cheap!
