Father's Day

I'm currently studying for an upcoming exam, and honestly, walang pumapasok sa utak ko. Haha. I think I'll just continue tomorrow and rest my brain for the rest of the evening. But before I go to sleep, I shall make a quick blog entry about yesterday. . .

So yesterday was Father's day. It was pretty much a normal until my father decided that we should go out for dinner. Called a certain restaurant if they could accommodate us, but they said they couldn't. So I tried another restaurant at a nearby hotel - Disney Aulani. Surprisingly, there were vacant seats so I immediately made reservations. I got really excited.

Disney Aulani is breathtaking. It's such a beautiful hotel and resort. After savoring (lol) the ambiance, we headed straight to the restaurant. It wasn't busy. Thank goodness! We were seated right away! It was seamless. Staff was really accommodating and pleasant too.
I have a penchant for grand ceilings. I don't know why. Weird ba?
I know some people like this kind of lighting, but I di ko feel. I didn't find it romantic at all. Parang nagtitipid sa kuryente! This restaurant had a very relaxed vibe though, which I loved.

Now onto the food. I hate to say this, but it was mediocre! And it wasn't cheap. I'm not saying it's bad; Its just that price could been much less. To be fair, I really enjoyed their pasta, their prime rib, and their seafood platter :-)
I really liked this. It was sumptuous.
These were okay.
Nasarapan din ako. Loved the white wine sauce!
It was a nice experience dining at Aulani, but it wasn't worth the money I paid for (yes, I paid for the bill. haha). I still prefer Tivoli at the Mandarin Oriental. But duh, it's all the way in Manila. Hahaha.
Mum with her Tod's DD bag :D
