Too much Mickey

Today was my nephew's 5th birthday. Wee. He's growing up too fast. He'll be in kindergarten na. Next thing we know, he'll be off to college! Whoa. I feel really old.

The party venue was at Disney Aulani Hotel and Resort. Upon entering the property (the hotelier in me can't stop using such a jargon. ahihi), a sense of peaceful environment is immediately felt - which many travelers desire. But I find it really overpriced (it's Disney after all). Not really a bad thing for those who are willing to spend though :-)
Oh diba, Mickey Mouse overload. On a side note, my nephew is a future party boy. He likes to dance :D
The menu was American - burgers, chili, hot dogs, and chips. No rice! Sumakit ulo ko.
The birthday boy and I. I see eyebags! Truthfully, I only had three hours of sleep. I was busy watching my favourite shows online and reading random articles. I know, how healthy right? Buti nalang, naglagay ako ng eye cream tsaka eye drops. LOL
These were my favourite, chocolate tart and tiramisu.
Three generations of Gervacio. Aww. Allen and Mother, carrying baby Christopher
If there's one thing that's distinct about Aulani among the other upscale hotels in Waikiki, it's the architecture! It's magnificent. Very. . .Hawaiian.
Can't wait for you to grow up Gabriel! I'm sure you'll be smart, adventurous, and good looking :D
At talagang nag red ako! Magkaterno kami ni Mickey Mouse!
ahhh, I love hotels!
Shoe selfie. Haha. I wore these Onitsuka Tiger sneakers on Gabriel's FIRST birthday. Dang, these shoes are old. But these are my favourite. (Off topic, the trousers are from Valentino. They're so comfortable. I could wear them everyday.)
No longer part of Disney Aulani, but I sighted this upon leaving. I thought it was cool. Yes, trains aren't obsolete in HNL!
