Another Pen Post

Update on the auction: I won! I won! I won! I cannot believe it. I'm never fortunate when it comes to these things (raffles and auctions). But for the first time, I got something I really love. There were other things up for auction such as jewelry creations by Chaumet, Piaget, De Beers and many more, but those didn't caught my eyes (I am after all a guy). Actually, nothing caught my eyes at all until I was pressured by my colleagues to bid on something. Haha. I thought, why not. I really had no expectations, but I guess it was meant to be.
Never in my life did I imagine owning something so beautiful like this. Maybe it's because I know for a fact that it's not a necessity and that no matter how much I work hard, I cannot stomach paying the full retail price. Plus, who am I do be using the creme de la creme of all pens? I was surprised that the starting bid was very low and not a lot of people were fighting over it. But it was fate and my lucky stars; I was the very last bidder. And although I bade for a much higher price than I originally intended, it's perfectly okay because it's is nothing compared to what to the original price!
Onto the pen. I don't know much about fountain pens, so my descriptions will be very amateur. This is MontBlanc Boheme with a medium retractable 14 karat white gold nib (a mouthful). When I use fountain pens, I have a preference towards fine or extra fine nibs. I was told that I could exchange it, but upon my initial stroke on a piece of paper, it wasn't so bad. It's something I wouldn't use on  daily basis though.

Coincidentally, I have a box of ink cartridges (in Midnight blue) from Montblanc that I intended to use for my other fountain pens. But now that I have the Boheme, the cartridges will be housed exclusively in it.
