The Weekend

I don't know anyone who doesn't love the weekends because it's the only two day I look forward to every time Monday hits the calendar. Haha. The weekend is when I get to unwind, not think about work, rest, and simply become lethargic and idle.

Started the weekend by eating dinner with Matet in Waikiki. Then on Saturday, I hung out with Aizza. We watched 50 Shades of Grey. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but the movie wasn't so bad! My only comment: they chose the wrong actress to play Anastasia. Personally, Dakota Johnson looked too mature to be playing a supposedly college student. Just my two cents :D

After watching the film, we parted ways na. Met my family at Longs Drugs and ended up getting a bunch of things I didn't really need. One of them was a Frederick Fekkai gel because it was on sale for only $5+. I loved Frederick Fekkai products in high school. I used to buy them at Sephora, but during the past few years, they transitioned from high-end to drug store. Dunno why.

Sunday: It's all about giving thanks to the Lord. I attended the 10 a.m. mass, and surprisingly, there were seats left on the second level of the church. Anyway, the homily was nice. It was about saying no to temptation :-) Smiley face nalang kasi natamaan ako. Haha.
After Church, I headed home for lunch tapos pumunta sa Target with family. Didn't really get anything this time as I was trying to be good (just ordered a bunch of things from Colette. Hahaha).

I am now home, reading a bunch of blogs (because I haven't done this in so long!) and browsing for Oscars related stuff. Eddie Redmayne took home the Best Actor trophy. Hooray for British peeps invading America. Hahahaha
