Coffee kicked in!

I always tell myself, coffee has no effect on me. Perhaps it's because it's something I don't consume on a daily basis. Earlier this evening however, after dinner, I decided to drink a cup - with coco crunch cereal- for pleasure. And I must say that it made me energetic and productive: within the past couple of hours, I was able to review for my exam on Wednesday, change my bedding, clean the contents of my bag, arranged my closet, and chatted with a few peeps on Skype.

Normally, by this time, I'm already tucked in bed dreaming. But guess what, it's 5 minutes before the hour of 2 in the morning. And I'm wide awake, typing this entry. For years, I've underestimated the power of coffee. But I can now fully attest to the fact that caffein keeps me nocturnal!

Thankfully, I'm not in a state of overthinking things which usually happens when I stay up super late. Maybe it's because I learned from the past that it won't do me any good anyway. Honestly, is worrying (well, worrying too much) about the uncertainty going to change anything? No. So why make things complicated, right? :-)
The coffee is white because I used a sachet of Great Taste White. Really good! :D
