Day off part deux

As planned, I went to the satallite hall pretty early to renew my permit. I was imagining that there'd be a horrendous queue but there was none at all. In fact, it was empty!

I headed to the one at Pearlridge Mall. Ahh, Pearlridge. Such a laid back mall. I used to come here a lot when I was younger. But it's really much more convenient for me to go to Ala Moana Centre. So much things have changed. But anyway, I like Satellite hall that's located here. It's never too busy and the staff are much more friendly!
My experience this time was very at ease! Normally, I'd go through a long queue (hello Kapolei, hello Dillingham) and endure the rude attitude of their front line workers. But this was not the case earlier as everything went so smoothly. I literally finished my business in 5 minutes! The only thing that annoyed me was I forgot to bring cash with me so I had to search for an ATM machine. Don't know why they don't just accept credit cards. Anyway, I was so pleased with the process!

I was gonna go home but I decided to explore the vicinity. I went to stores such as Bed Bath and Beyond, and Down to Earth Organic Market. Yes folks, I don't only buy quality food; I also like quality lifestyle products. Haha.

I commuted back home, and saw Chris sitting in the bus from school. I approached him and caught up in Tagalog. It's nice to speak my mother tongue once in a while :-)

It was alreay 6 in the evening when we went to Costco. I haven't been to Costco in years. My parents used to be members at Sam's Club but we stopped buying in bulk. What I love about going to Costco is the free samples that they offer. Come to think of it, libreng meryenda yon! I forgot to bring my phone so I wasn't able to take photos. Hehe. Matet bought things that we want to send to Mama in the Philippines whilst I bought only two things: a pack of Naked Juice and Marie Kondo's "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up." It was only $9.99 so I decided to pick it up. I've been meaning to get a copy since December, and I'm happy I finally have one.

This sums up my two consecutive days off which is rare. I enjoyed it and I was able to recharge. I'm ready for another busy week at work! :)
