Catching up

Anna will be embarking on a new journey in two weeks as she got an offer as a researcher  in Denmark after completing her Ph.D in economics at UH. She mentioned that she will greatly miss Hawaii, but I told her Hawaii will always be here. Hehe. Aww, I hate that feeling. . .

Anyway, I felt like we needed to catch up before she leaves. After all, wala masyado Atenista dito :-)We were supposed to get coffee lang, but it ended up at eating light dinner at Bills Sydney. I have to say, the restaurant was really nice. I felt like we were not in HNL! Loved the vibe. The bar area sort of reminds me of Park Hyatt Tokyo's New York Grill! And yes, "Lost in Translation" popped out of my head. Haha.

Aside from the yummy food (priced reasonably), I really enjoyed talking to Anna and Andrew about religion, travels, careers, and the common friends/connections that we have at UH-M :-)
This is what I ordered: Bianco flat bred pizza. It was good! Though I felt like the lemon zest was unnecessary.
I don't remember the name of this, but it was banana something coated with ricotta batter. We were a little disappointed because look at how tiny this is! Haha. We each had one :D
Anna and Andrew. Anna has a BS Management Engineering degree from ADMU; Masters in Economics from UPD; and Ph.D in Economics from UH-M. Wahh, I hate numbers :D
The three of us. I'm gonna be narcicistic for a bit: my skin looks good! Obagi is love :D
Waiting for the storm. .
Lost in Translation-esque background, no?
