Labour Day
Attempting to blog regularly again! I'm kinda missing it :)
Ah, Labour day. It's so nice to have a 3-day weekend and 3 days off from from work! I badly needed it. Coincidentally, Marilou and Lola Edith arrived today in HNL. So Happy to see them after 4 years? A lot has changed since then.
Moving forward, Glory and I really wanted to take them out for late lunch. Okay, it was more of Glory's idea. . .I just assisted in picking out the venue. Haha. There were a few choices I had in mind, but I guess nothing was more appropriate than checking out the newly renovated International Market. It was an excuse to to have a glimpse of what they're offering. Sadly, there's actually only two new restaurants that are open: a steakhouse, and one owned by celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi. I assumed they would enjoy island fusion food more than steak, so off we went to Eating House by Roy Yamaguchi.
