Au Revoir Weekend
This weekend, I didn't really go out. Yup. No Waikiki. No Ala Moana. No shopping. I pretty much stayed at home simply because...well, I learned that staying at home is actually not so bad. Plus, I really enjoy hanging out with my family :D
Okay, so it's Sunday today. I woke up pretty early to work on my dossier. Honestly, I've been putting it off since forever! But it's already due on Tuesday. I meant to finish it yesterday. But I went to the movie theater with Matet to watch Beauty and the Beast. And the rest of the day, aside from going Target and eating with my parents at Gyu-kako (apparently my Mother's favourite. Haha), I stayed in my room and allowed lethargicness to permeate. But I really had to finish it today, at least the first draft. And I did! It was a miracle! Haha. Gosh, so proud of myself. Of course, it's not yet done as I need to edit it a few more times. But I think I'll do that tomorrow. I've done enough writing today :D
After finishing my first, we strolled out for a walk. Gee, it was ridiculously hot! Matet remarked, "why is it so hot? it's supposed to be spring!" But I was like "We don't have four seasons here." Haha. The hot temperature merited cold milk shake. Thank goodness Godiva was there to save us. By the way, thanks for the libre, Matet :DWe headed to Costco after to do our weekly grocery shopping. Umm, got me some organic hot dogs and pot-stickers. You know, I'm not the biggest advocate of healthy eating, but for some reason, whenever I go to Costco, I have the tendency to look for something "organic"
Later on in the afternoon, I got a text from Benaliz, my neighbor since forever! Haha. We grew up together actually. We went to the same high school, then to the same college for the first few years until she transferred to HPU (haha). Ahh, memories when we were young! Anyway, she asked if I was interested in accompanying her to Ross to look for knick Knacks. At first, I hesitated because I would have rather stayed at home and finish editing my dossier (that was my excuse). But I thought, why not?
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Ross. I honestly prefer going to thrift shops and TJ Max. I think I could find better stuff there. But yeah, this sums up my weekend.
