Arrivederci

As previously mentioned, my boss did not accept my resignation letter when I expressed to her last Friday that it’s time that I move on.  She told me to think it over. But since the beginning, my decision is firm.

Today, when everybody else left the office (though my colleagues already know), I expressed to my boss again that my decision is final. She attempted to convince me to stay again by saying that I have a high chance of getting a better position in the future with the company. But I feel like that’s just a façade. Haha. So I bade my adieu. My official last day will be on Thursday, the 3^rd of August.

I’m excited about starting anew! My trip to Hong Kong and to the Philippines commences a few days after my departure, so that’ll be fun! On my return, I’ll be starting grad school, so we’ll see how that goes. Finally, the dreadful Sundays are coming to an end.

I deserve this. I so deserve this!

I’m currently here at Panya as I’m making this entry, eating Loco Moco for dinner an an Iced apple tea. Ahh! How refreshing! I just had a consultation with a stylist at a salon for a possible hair color and cut on the weekend. This is much needed! I feel like it’s necessary to celebrate the start of a new chapter in my life. Dramatic. I know!
