The Weekend is Over???
The past weekend was quite productive. I was able to do a lot of thing except for one thing - update my iPod. Haha. iPod is obsolete. And I rarely use mine. But I figured it might be useful for my multiple flights next week since I like listening to music to kill time. Wee! Here are some of the things that I did (cleaning my shoes, washing my clothes, and mapping the floor are not included haha)...
1. As mentioned in a previous post, I saw Spiderman Homecoming again with Joyce last Friday night. It was a good film. And l loved how the cast is so diverse. Moreover, I love how the movie took me back to high school. Ah, to be young. Haha. Aside from seeing a good film, I love how I got to hang out with an awesome friend, who happens to be a pharmacist ;) Thanks for the treat Joyce!
2. I have been looking forward to cutting my hair and coloring it. Okay, I'm about to do something new in my life and I think it's just appropriate. Nothing drastic though, although I wish I was more adventurous when I chose the color for my hair. It's dark brown. Still subtle, but I like how it's somewhat different. Let make a comment: there's a difference between an expensive and cheap haircut. Seriously. And this hurts my cheap ears, but I much prefer the former than the later. Haha
3. I discovered this fairly new ice cream shop called Sweet Creams, and naturally, I wanted to try it because I love ice cream. I didn't know, however, that there'd be a long queue. Though it wasn't so bad. It wasn't particularly good (I mean, it's ice cream for crying out loud) but I like the novelty of it being "fried." It's so cool.
4. Went to Barney's Warehouse, and oh hello, Balenciaga! I have a thing for Balenciaga bags because they're so...2000s. Haha. Matet did not buy this but she did buy a Lanvin bag that is severely discounted. I offered to pay in half and told her it's my advance Christmas Gift. Haha. Hey, it's already August, and before we know it, it's September, then October, then November, then December! Yay! I think I'm overly excited about the holidays coming as evidenced by my inappropriate choice of songs blasting on my Boise speakers :P
5. Had an early dinner at Agu Ramen Bistro. And can I just say they serve the best ramen in all of Oahu? I'm serious! Their Tonkotsu rame has this really intense broth that I love, love, love. Glad I could share this experience with my family. Though they're not too fond of it as I am. Haha
6. Dropped by Longs Drugs to get some pasalubong. They macadamia chocolates are on sale!
Not pictured: going to the doctor to ask for prescription drugs to take with me; talking on the phone with my really good friend Kerin about life; and booking a night stay at the Conrad Manila using my Hilton Honors Points before flying back to HNL on the 21st.
See, this weekend was product :D
