Productive Day

In fairness to me, I was able to get a lot of things done today. First day of being officially unemployed! Ahh, after 5 years in corporate, I'm free!

First on the agenda was to go to the satellite hall. It was able to get my business done in more than an hour. Ugh, lines are always long!

I then took uber to get to the International Market in time for lunch with Elaine. There was no traffic going to Waikiki (duh, it was on during the middle of the day) so I had a bit of extra time to kill. I went to Mitsuwa to check out the new donut shop. And It was pretty good! Love that they serve illy coffee.

Elaine and I haven't hung out in a while and it was so good catching up with her. Thanks for the treat, my friend :)

 We ate at Goma Tei. And this is what I ordered. It's fairly new on the menu, and I really enjoyed it. :)

Elaine's break was only 1 hour. She had to go back to the office right after lunch. Even though it's been a while (like 2015!) since we spoke to each other, it's as if nothing has changed. We reminisced the days in college where we'd hop on the bus to go to DFS and buy her beloved Chanel makeup. Haha.

Speaking of DFS, right after lunch, I decided to peruse the 3rd floor. For some reason, I felt the need to enter. Nothing was in my budget so I left empty-handed. Truthfully, I don't need anything thing. Haha.
