The Landmark Mandarin Oriental
The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, undoubtedly, is my favourite hotel in the world. It's chic, modern, and unabashedly luxurious. I have long admired this property and vowed to stay here one day. Well, that materialised when I decided to have a short side trip to Hong Kong last month. And I just want to say that it was a dream come true to have stayed at this hotel! I'm not kidding. I experienced the best service ever, and got to have a glimpse of how the other half lives ;)
Ah, private entrace to Dior!
Note from a former hotelier: If you see a Nespresso machine, it means you're in a quality hotel :)
There are three Mandarin Oriental properties in the territory. But the Landmark location is the most contemporary--which is more of my style versus the old world glamour that the flagship Mandarin Oriental on Connaught Road offers. My stay at the Landmark arguably was the most expensive I've ever spent on a hotel, but I can say that every penny was worth it. The facilities, the service...I could go on and on.
This is their reception desk. Ah, reminded me of my operations days before moving to Sales and Marketing :)
Basically the design of my future living room. Haha.Ah, private entrace to Dior!
Onto the room...
I stayed at their signature L6000 room. Not a suite, but this was more than enough for one person!

The bathroom was equally impressive...
Ahh, their signature tub. It was huge!
And the little details:
The wardrobe of my dreams. Haha
Acqua Panna water bottle (gratis!) and bose speakers.
As you can see, I was very happy. I worked for a luxury hotel, but the level of service that they provided was just out of this world. Every request I made, they didn't say no. It was overwhelming actually. Haha. I vow to return to this hotel again!
