Today was quite an eventful day...
First: I attended the Songfest. To be honest, I have nothing to do with this club anymore. But it's always nice to be in a company of people who made the best four years of my life ;) I'm emceed the programme today with Jason and Terry. It was a nice experience! It was my first time doing it, and I don't think I'm good at it. Haha. The Songfest itself was great, though! So proud of the students for working hard. It definitely paid off! Their rendition of various Filipino band hits such as Hinahanap Kita was well sung and choreographed!
After the Songfest, Tita Irma and I took the uber to Ala Moana Center. It was Saturday after all so we had the luxury of time to gala. The fact that I haven't been working on my research paper, however, makes me feel bad. :(
Tita Irma and I separated paths after using the restroom at Neiman Marcus. I met up with Joyce at Ichidai. I wasn't hungry because I had just eaten lunch 3 hours prior, but she was. She ate Sashimi while I ate oysters (just so I could accompany her inside the restaurant). After eating, she wanted to go home because she was tired from work (she's a pharmacist!). She was rather rude today. But perhaps she was just tired.
On the way home, I guess she realized her rudeness and to make it up, she asked if I wanted to see Justice League. I said okay! Lol. So off we went to the Commons. Luckily, I brought along with me the movie tickets I purchased earlier this week at school. Hey, gotta love student discounts!
On the way to the cinema, someone said my name. It was Maika'i, my classmate at 768C. Wala lang. It was random, but it was nice seeing her outside of the classroom. :D
Anyway, the seats at the commons were full. The next available showing would be at 10pm pa. Our other option was to go to another nearby cinema. So off we went! It was still early so we decided to eat dinner. We didn't really eat properly anyway at Ala Moana hence the excuse to eat. We ate at this new Korean restaurant. The food was okay and the service was okay, too. But personally, I'm not the biggest fan of Korean cuisine.
After dinner, we headed to the cinema. We missed maybe 5 minutes of the film because the walk from the restaurant to the cinema was quite long. Anyway, not a film review but it was great! I loved it, as expected :)

While eating lunch, I was able to catch with some program alumni. Talked about life, work, and working in the academia. It was nice to hear their perspectives!
