Done wrapping!
As my nephews and nieces grow older, I find it challenging to find them appropriate gifts. I used to, and still occasionally, shower them with nice clothing items (Marie Chantal, Stella McCartney et cetera) because, at a young age, I want them to appreciate quality over quantity (much like how I was taught). But let's be honest, I think they'd rather prefer dolls (look at the beautiful Monique Llulier below) Batman, Superman, and Starwars. So this holiday, it's what I got them! Haha. thank goodness Pottery Barn has a good selection of reasonable prices. I ordered them last week, and they arrived two days ago. Amazing! Though one is still on its way (a nice jewelry box) and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. However, upon tracking, it's now scheduled to arrive on the 26th. What the f*ck!. Now I need an alternative. Ughh.
I'm pretty much done wrapping everything else though. I must say, I went a little over budget this year, but not as drastic as the previous years (no Tiffany x Schlumberger jewelry for Nanang this year! Though I did get her a Valentino bag that she was eyeing. Haha). Nevertheless, I'm very happy with all the presents I will be gifting. I have to say, I consider myself a thoughtful (and perhaps generous) giver because I ensure that what I give aligns my philosophy in life which is the very best (but not necessarily paying a lot for them;))
