In LA

I was in LA for several hours which was enough to spend time with ate Jen. Her time in Hawaii was over, she told me, so it was time for her to be back home. We met at Grove and ate lunch at Dominique Ansel. Spent hours catching up! I already miss her :( Despite being separated by geography, we've always kept in touch through email. She guides me about my graduate school journey and my search for a fulfilling career in higher education. Which reminds me, I did land a job in higher ed. It's actually my first day tomorrow. I'll probably write about it when I'm ready :)
