Phil in Philly!

Greetings from America's birthplace! I have been here for several days now for a conference, and so far, it has been an enriching experience! I must, however, admit that I was overwhelmed on the very first day. But the people that I met made me more connected! Grateful for that. My goal for attending this conference was to immerse myself in this profession. While I'm still uncertain whether it's something that I want to do for the rest of my life, I at least have an idea that I have many options in this field, and that I don't have to be stuck in just one place--perhaps my biggest fears. Haha.

I'm scheduled to fly back home to Honolulu (via San Francisco) tomorrow morning. Though there's a storm coming and Virgin America hasn't been the best in giving me updates, and I really can't tell if I could fly or not. I really want to go home so that I could accomplish pending errands and assignments (like my exam for 661!). But in the (likely) event that my flight will be canceled or delayed, I have two options: stay at a nice lounge and suck up paying the horrendous day-pass fee so that I could still be productive, or stay back at the hotel with the new friends I made (their flights have been canceled already!).

On a different note, why do I always experience bad weather when I come to the east?!

  1. Eastcoast weather sucks! So what option did you end up doing?
