Random things

I've been extra diligent with my skincare because my skin has been dull and oily. Ugh, oily! I'd rather be dry. But that's not good, too. For years, I skipped anything that "moisturizes" because I thought I was too young for them. But I realize that we all need moisture, and it has been the best decision I made for my skin. Using the right products really balanced my skin condition! I'm not too dry nor too oily anymore! My personal favourites right now are the SK-II essence and the Sulwhasoo serum (that Roger kindly gave to me). Several days ago, I got the Cleanser 27 from Mr Porter which was hideously expensive! I wasn't expecting anything at all because I just wanted a fancy 'made in france' cleanser (frivolous!)...and man, this was a pricey mistake. But I'm keeping it because I don't think I can return it? Haha
This Anya Hindmarch candle. First discovered it on Net a Porter and it's supposed to smell like coffee. I love the smell of coffee because, for some reason, it reminds me of being on a plane (weird?). That sold me, and the fact that the votive is creepy but cute. The problem was, I couldn't fork more than $70 for it. Not happening! But I discovered that it's much cheaper at Matches Fashion. On a side note, customer service was really great and shipping was ridiculously fast! About 2 days from London. Woah! Anyway, I was excited to receive and disappointingly, it doesn't smell anything like coffee. It smells more like flowers, and honestly,  the first I burnt it, it gave made me want to vomit. Haha. I'm still keeping it because the votive is really cute :D
I decided to invest in a kindle because I love to read! For years, I've been using my Ipad Mini for when I want to read on a plane or when I travel. But Ipad is too distracting. I got myself the Voyage variant, and it's so tiny and light! Currently catching up on Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli (2015) and so far so good! Can't wait to store more ebooks! Don't get me wrong, I love physical books but in the spirit of minimalism, space, and convenience, I think this is a much better option!
