Hurricane Douglas
Over the weekend, hurricane Douglas was forecasted to wreak havoc. This prompted many businesses to close. Thankfully though, essentials stores, such as Target was open, so I had time to get several things that our household might need should the hurricane hit our shores. In addition to food, I was going to stock up on cleaning supplies but of course, the things that I had on my mind were out of stock (e.g., Lysol spray). My run at target was fairly quick. I think I was there for less than 30 minutes.
When I got home, it started to rain a little. I thought this was the beginning of the storm/hurricane (though it was really muggy). I thought, okay, I'm gonna be stuck here for a while so what am I going to do? It dawned on me that I've been wanting to organize my wardrobe for a very long time. So I did just that. I got rid of a lot of stuff and only kept the things that I love. Here's a portion of it :) It's so pleasing to the eyes :)
After an hour or two of cleaning and organizing, I noticed that the rain had stopped. Throughout the whole Sunday, we were anticipating the arrival hurricane, Douglas. But he did not arrive at all. Many people were relieved (especially my mom), but I was wishing for at least more rain to pour. The rain just calms me.
